Tennis Courts will reopen this Saturday, 9th February

Following last week’s cold snap which prevented the courts being marked out, I am assured by the contractors that the hard courts will be open for us on Saturday 9th February – book the courts in the usual fashion through the office (0208 398 1267 x4) – as and when anything changes i will keep you updated via this blog.

Thank you to all for your patience – but for those that have already viewed the work undertaken so far you will agree that there will be a fantastic tennis facility at Imber once all the work is completed.

The Cat Returns!

Sleeping Off A long Journey In His Favourite Place

After our post yesterday reporting Benny’s disappearance, we have an exciting development…
It would appear that Benny, among a few others, actually reads the Chairman’s Blog! Whether Benny was stuck in a shed, or simply fancied a detox vacation away from the rich and delicious foods of Imber, we’ll never know, but he returned today, skinnier that before but unscathed from his escapades! #TheCatReturns #Bengal #ImberCourt #Imber

The Cat Is Out The Bag!

imbercat

You may remember our post about Benny, the extremely good-looking Bengal that roams far and wide across Imber’s 90 acres, but always makes it back for dinner… Well, it seems that last week Benny decided to go on a little adventure, and hasn’t been seen for several days, causing much worry and concern for his safety. Sheds, outhouses, storage huts and barns have all been checked, we’re hoping it’s just a matter of time and a hungry tummy that will bring him home! #CatOnTheLose #ImberCourt #MountedBranch

Swim , Hog Roast & Fireworks

Weather looks good for Sunday , Phil has promised to keep the swimming pool open all sunday afternoon for family swimming, Yogi is firing up the Hog Roast and the fireworks are set….

Come down this Sunday afternoon , bring the kids for a swim , have a drink whilst watching The Arsenal beat Man City and Chelsea losing,  then enjoy the Hog Roast before wandering over to 40 acres for Surrey’s biggest firework display. Sounds like a good plan to me.
